Is it impossible for you to make a trip to New York and pick them up? That way you can see what's available and choose those you really want as opposed to having to settle for what you are sent.

Bill is sponsoring a 3-day Bonsai Colloquium in Rochester June 6-9. That would be a great time to talk to him about trees. I'm sure that summer heat is the reason he won't trust trees to the mails after March.

I'm looking forward to the Colloquium.

meehansminiatures.com in Frederick MD is a great specialized nursery. They have JBP, Scotts and mugo. Prices very reasonable and they are nice people. They ship plants. Also, we have adamsbonsai.com in VA. Julian Adams grows pines and other material.

I've dealt with both of these businesses and they are first rate.
