What to expect in a workshop with a bonsai professional

Just to close off this thread ...

The workshop was scheduled for this weekend, but because of the COVID-19 lockdown it was cancelled. Maybe next year!

I know that I had "closed" this, but I thought that I would add an addendum :).

The workshop was rescheduled and took place, and I have been to another two since. Mauro is a fantastic teacher and has superb vision on how to transform and develop trees in all stages of maturity. Despite him working on thousands of trees every year, he seemed to remember the history and plan for every branch on my (extremely modest) trees from one workshop to the next.

The workshops have been an invaluable learning experience. Highly recommended.

Glad you updated this thread, people should be encouraged to attend workshops with professionals when they are able to, it makes a huge difference when you find the right pro.
