Hello everyone, could anybody explain why I could be doing wrong with my Mulberry? I carefully check if it needs water every day and when it does I water it thoroughly. I fertilise every week using micronutrients. I also fertilise every week using normal liquid fertiliser. It used to look healthy but then there was one week where I didn't fertilise with micronutrients as the bottle said only to fertilise every 2 weeks and it started to look like this. It does not seem to get better. What do you think I should do? I am currently fertilising every week with micronutrients as well as regular liquid fertiliser.IMG_7162.jpg

is it being kept in full sun? It probably needs a bit of shade respite from the Portuguese sun. I’d probably up the watering, the soil to me looks a little dry and cover those exposed surface roots with soil.

It’s also a lot of fertilising going on, I’d probably pull back on that.

Thanks, when it started looking like this I put it in the shade. I will start watering it more often then.

Watering more often may or may not help. Watering when the tree needs it is best.

The tree is sun scorched. the pot in full sun also heats up the roots. Needs afternoon shade with about four hours of morning sun.

Thanks, should I remove the burnt leaves?

I'd leave them alone and let the tree decide when to drop them. The leaves are not dead, they're damaged but probably still functioning.
