What is this problem with my Mugo Pine?

I got this mugo pine in early summer and haven’t really touched it except for raising its level in the pot. I have noticed that some of it’s needles turn brown at the ends. I am guessing it is a fungus so I will start spraying with fungicides in spring along with my Japanese Black Pine, but does anyone have ideas for what else it could be? Could it be overwatering, since it is in potting soil (I recently cut back a lot on watering since I felt I was overwatering)? If it is a fungus, what type is it?

It was inside so I could take pictures. I always keep it outside.

I can't really tell from the pictures, but are the brown ones the current years growth? Pines will lose some of their older leaves in fall/autumn

Yes they are current year’s growth

That's not bad.
I haven't been able to overwater a mugho.

Mine was worse last year.

Sprayed it with neem before candles opened this year.
Kept rust on top for iron and fish every 2nd or third day.

Still green!

It looks fine to me. Usually the brown tips are the result of the needle being broken. Happens when you aren’t careful, and it doesn’t show up for a few days. It only looks like one needle has needle cast, but it’s hard to tell exactly. Read up on soils, watering, and best time of the year to do work.

I agree with BVF. I see nothing unusual about that mugo and nothing to be concerned about.

Look into startind with fungus sprays next spring to prevent needle cast.

Needle cast infects the needles one full year before you actually see it in the needles. The needles are infected during the spring/summer in humid conditions typically, but you don't see it on the needles until the summer of the next year most of the time. So you need to treat your pones throughout the spring and summer to prevent it.

Aye looks fine. Mugos are rough in nature and take a battering. Could be objecting to being tea bagged.. (sorry I cant help it )
