What has this site done for/meant to you?

I appreciate the information I get from people who are much more experienced. The problem solving skills, the tutorials, the pictorial progressions, etc.
 
I've found a community here that loves the same things I do. Maybe in different ways, but that's cool. I don't fancy myself on the same level as Al, or BVF or Sergio, or Dav4 among many others who are very talented here, but I do hope I've given back to the community as I've been given.
(And Adair and Will and Stan K. and and and.....)
 
Me, as an "outsider" is very gretaful being allowed to stay here.
'Never heard accusations accordding to my very lousy english writing.
'A torture it is, not being a nativ speaker ... 'will always be captured in potential misunderstandings
or embarressing lack of expressive/understanding possibilities ...

Anyway, personally I think people are more important than trees.
For this reason I am so delighted, that I have the chance (via bonsai-nut) to learn more about the american state of mind ...
You are so funny, and most of the time more relaxed than the "old-world-fellows" ...
For me? I enjoy the people ...

What this site means...
Morning newspapers.
Magazine to read when relaxing and having a cup of coffee.
Place to meet nice people of the same kind sharing their knowledge and experiences.
Bonsai bible, up-to-date, breaking myths.
Sometimes cabaret for fun.:)

This site is the Methadone that gets me through to the next hit of heroin, which is some form of progress on my trees, or a new collecting trip. Apologies to anyone dealing with a more serious addiction than bonsai!
