Western cottonwood for free

I kind of agree with you...

Do you have too many trees to take your time, and think about a righteous path?:p

Sorce
And to this statment, I say, the more trees you have the less time you have to work on each one, only giving you more time to think! Lol

Aaron

Oops, I did it again.
Took this one yesterday. Future shohin lol20160702_173350.jpg
A friend of mine is interstellar in a trade for this one. I'll go see what he has and and maybe trade. So I'll update whether I've still got it in a week, or show what I traded for and see what you guys think.

Aaron

Nice!

I'm counting on you to make good on this "shit" material!

If you have too many trees to think about...send me some pictures so I can think for you!

I want you to see you executing good planning!

Sorce

F me...

When asked by a friend if I was going to the ABS show....

I just told him planning and executing is not our strong point!

But that's life! Trees are different!

Lololol.

Well before I give this one hell, I'll see what you think about it.
Oh I'm getting excited for the sea of fall colors this year!

You don't really need me!

It just seems like you got too(plus one more million o's) many things to focus on a righteous development plan for all of them.
Or you read W.P.'s hedgecutting method and furiously just apply that.....

I could be absolutely wrong...cuz I don't see everything of course...
But I envy the Shit out of your green thumb, excellent growth, and I always feel like....man...if my Shit was growing like that!

If my Shit was growing like that I could actually be creating Shit, and not dribbling the D word on here all the time!

I'll admit that not all of them have a plan forward, and in that time they grow. I generally try to have more then one of each species of tree I have, one (or more) nice and the rest to "play" with. I have began selling things at the local club, that's how I got my new elm lol trade the youngins for some more established trees.

Big guy (CW2) looks like it ran out of steam at about 7ft tall, this'll be a big ball of yellow foliage in a month lol20160831_081550.jpg
CW1 is still growing away, I'm restraining myself from doing any work so the tree can build some energy for the winter.20160831_075255.jpg
And the little guy is really bolting upward20160831_081604.jpg
Already starting to heal the chop.20160831_081613.jpg

I sure do like the big one, interested to see what you do with it next. Is the black stuff on the chop pruning sealant? I thought about trying it but I though it would be forever and I'd eventually want it off.

The black stuff is indeed pruning sealer. It mostly crumbles away as the wound heals, but it falls off easily after about 2 years. I might be trading the big one but I have a feeling the deal is going to fall threw, I definitely have a lot to work with this next spring so it should be fun.

THats sounds great, I'm getting some then. I'm using plumbers putty right now, its ok but it dries out too fast and falls off way before it should.

Do to some financial issues, I unfortunately have to sell this guy today to a friend of mine.
Last pic as my tree20161122_074322.jpg :( at least I have the other big guy.

Aaron

Well that just blows!
Hope the financial difficulties are just temporary.
