Hadn´t seen it since "The silence of the lambs". You feel scared when you see this gigantic (5 inches) insect.....

It's an Acherontia atropos
It's not usual to see it here.....I guess climate change

I've been feeding a couple of stray cats since I had a bunch of catfood left after we had to put our kitty down. One was a big, white cat that was really feral. If she even saw a person she ran like hell. Soon the big cat was really skinny and she confirmed my suspicion tonight. I guess she trusts that we won't hurt her and she brought her new family over.
