Hello friends, not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm sure you'll let me know. I'm going to be in Elkton, MD the 18th-23rd and was hoping to shop for a tree or two on Monday MLK Day. I know it's not great timing since there is a holiday but I'll be working tues-friday (most likely all day) and figured I'd give it a shot anyway. I'm looking for trees in the $100-300 price range and interested in JBP or Jmaples mostly, but not opposed to other varieties if I found something that stood out. Any advice on where to find some trees would be HUGELY appreciated. I wanted to visit Meehan's Miniatures but I believe they will be closed and I've heard they are more of a specialty nursery for tropicals. Also considered seeing if Kifu would be willing to set up an appointment but I haven't reached out yet. Any other recommendations please let me know. I am willing to drive a few hours if it means I'll find something nice and worth while.

I don't know about MD, but you're in Arizona. It might be worth your which to take some time and go to California. Lots of bonsai places and prices tend to be cheaper out there than on the east coast

I have been buying from several CA nurseries over the years and found many good trees that I've added to my collection. I just like to collect trees as a bit of a travel souvenir and figured I'd look since I've never been to the east coast and thought there might be something cool out there.

This is excellent, thank you! I was able to get in touch with Kifu and it looks like they mostly have large and expensive ($800+) price range for JBP so hopefully I can find something more in my price range at one of these other locations.
