I can answer for him if that is ok, I believe that is a Loropetalum Chinensis- Chinese a fringe Flower... Normally they are found with pink blooms, this a beautiful one with white blooms obviously.. I have seen it in person and thought it was really cool! If I recall I think I was more excited about it than John! LOL

Nice John, makes me want to start an azalea collection :)

The white and the pink together make each other stand out. Great job as always

One more just for fun...

Thank you John! You do beautiful work. I have learned much from your YouTube channel. I appreciate the time you've put into it. You have inspired me to search out azaleas. I've always loved them, but you've helped me build the skills needed to turn them into great bonsai.

a few of the late bloomers...

I really like the one in the top right of the 1st pic. The one in the yellowish drum pot. The trunk on that one is really cool.

I thought that looked like a Sara Rayner pot. I have one very similar in a different color that I put a crape myrtle in.

are you going to airlayer those whips of the kakuo or plant them as cuttings?

I like that Kakuo, a larger tree but looks like it has a nice trunk and the flowers are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

although they take from cuttings very easily I will probably airlayer to stack the odds on success.
