Ideas on this variety of Chinese elm?? A friend bought it for me thinking it was sempervirens/evergreen. It was the only she has found while sourcing plants for jobs. I repotted and lost one that was in the container. They are difficult to find around me except for the occasional “s”mallsai. Moderate to slower growing with really small tight growth. When purchased I thought it was dwarfed by the container but that is not the case….think it’s genetics. I believe it was several years old for its size by the looks of the bark. Fully recovered but not throwing out any long shoots yet, June socal. Looks like a normal chinese elm. Im not sure the difference between those with more deciduous genetics or evergreen ones is visible during summer in any way
