I was fortunate enough to see the black pine in person this past summer. A priceless piece of American history. Things like this really shake your faith in humanity. They said anyone with information can contact the museum directly.
 
No prob at all Mike. I’m not in the PNW but what a bummer situation. Make a comment in that other thread in regards to people contacting the museum directly. Yeah, I lose faith in humans far too often.

Yea I saw their post on Instagram about it yesterday. So think it was two nights ago at this point. What a relief.
 
There was a news story about it on NPR. Dont know if its a coincidence but the trees were returned the night the story aired.
Glad to hear they were returned alive and with minimal damage
 
Yeah just realized the other thread about this is more up to date. Dorp dorp dorp on my part. I’m on vacation in Hawaii, not as sharp as usual
