Hey, Rock, are you only doing this for trees that have broken dormancy? I’m also expecting 20F tonight, but most of my trees are still buried in mulch and dormant. I have the trees that have pushed buds in the garage, but I left the rest buried in the mulch they’ve been in all winter. Some of the trees living inside tonight as temps get down to mid 20's. Hopefully last time I'll have to do this, but I doubt it.

Yes. Trees that have leaf buds are left outside under mulch. There is no reason to bring trees that have no leaves inside as they retain their dormancy protections until leaf break.Hey, Rock, are you only doing this for trees that have broken dormancy?
