Just before Easter I collected three Oak saplings. They have since them survived, so I think it’s time to post. I hope I don’t jinx it.

#1
This one was under a not so big Oak tree. It has not changed at all since collected.

The second one was under a huge Oak tree. The top broke during collection and it was just looking like a bare stick in the pot but since then it has pushed buds and developed new leaves.

The last one was actually growing under a fence is the public path. Squirrels are always up and down that fence so my guess is one of them is the culprit. Collection was kind of traumatic to this one and since then leaves have dried and withered. However, at the same time it has pushed buds that are swollen now. It is the thickest of the three (a little thicker than a pencil) and I really wish it survives.

I know that if they survive it will be a very long journey, so I have secured a spot on the ground for them to grow in the future.
