The Tree Thread

ficus benjamina forest

I started this about 15 years ago with a potful of babies from Home Depot. The Richard Robertson pot is about 12"x18".

Awesome. I got a hernia from carrying a big scots pine in 1995, which required surgery to repair. The tree died. I was glad.

Nice olive and the leaves are so small...Here is my grape after a quick trim - no grapes this year. I know the back is much more interesting, gotta live with it for now.

Complete noob, barely qualified to look at photos, but what I've seen in this thread is truly incredible. Really fantastic work.

In picking up Dario's thought I'd like to start this thread where,if you comment, you have to post a picture of one of your trees. You can post the same tree multiple times, but from different angles, or details about the tree or the container.
We will thus continue commenting on each others' trees and post more trees. :D

Here's my tree, Conocarpus erectus - Buttonwood:

As a reminder...here is the "rule" outlined in the OP of this thread...bring the pix!
Carry on...

May build a Nakashima Milkhouse table for these guys, and a few more to sit on and soak in the sun.

Terrific grape!

Amur maple just trimmed. Aside form A. Palmatums, this is my favorite species of maple and one of the toughest! Next spring it will be potted in an actual bonsai container and styled for the first time.

Looking forward to it Mach5.

This strange berberis needs some time and a haircut. from 3 feet to 9 inches. Probably end up smaller still. Pardon the escape branches.
