Chinese quince I’ve had a few years. I’ve been conservative with it in an effort to not totally bung it up but doing so has certainly set me back. Better than ruining it. Maybe next year it’ll have a real apex!
I had actually wanted it in a box, but the box I had initially put it in was definitely going to fall apart. So I rushed to get it into the only thing I had to fit it that might help it grow better than glazed. The pot does not work with the tree, but at least it’s deep.

Sorry, I've never participated in this thread before.
I never thought about this thread really till I did a little history research on this juniper today
after posting it in the what did you do today thread...of course I have to update it's own thread as well.
Found out today I had erroneously named my tree Dothan, as I thought I had purchased it in Dothan, AL.
Did a quick search for the joint where I bought it (Bonsai by Dori). Turns out it was in Cottondale, FL
So I guess I should rename it Dori or Nana2 (nahhhh) or Juniper 2 as it is the 2nd oldest one I have.
Purchased for ~$20-45 at Bonsai by Dori Est. 2000 or 2004. If it was in a bonsai pot it was $45-60 if on this display then $20.
This is pretty similar to the juniper at time of purchase and the same stand along FL HWY 231.
2011 is the oldest picture I can find of it. ^ I never did like that forked trunk but I went with it anyway.
Today I repotted it.
