Love you guys & gals. I find all of this very flattering and amusing. A little background.
When I had a landscape business, my workers called me Dances with Trees.
Penumbra is a philosophical bent that came to me in a deep meditation and simply means Where Light Meets the Dark for me. ( or vice versa).
I love the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah and know that I wanted to live here when I was 8 years old. That was almost 68 years ago. I have never watched The Waltons but I had friends that did. It was a bit too cute for me. My first concert was Black Sabbath with Blue Oyster Cult. I have no favorite color, I celebrate them all but think they are without substance in the absence of white. I am an old Hippy and proud of it. A Devil's Advocate when I was younger, but came to terms with it because I was only arguing with another facet of myself. Starting moving plants around and gardening when I was 8, though no one in my family could understand it, especially when I referred to the plants as other beings. I am a bit odd, but I love being me. I believe that consciousness is an inherent aspect of everything, particularly notable in nature.

It was July 1972. The did Richmond and a few other places but the Alexandria shows are not in any archive I have found. It was a small venue and it was standing room only. I was not tripping, iy really happened. Someone trying to erase my past?
