Mine really got into chewing sticks last night and started chewing on my chinese juniper jins and my serviceberry that died back this year. I guess that's her way of saying I need to take some time and carve my deadwood or she'll do it for me.

She is also telling you that you need to get your trees higher off the ground and out of her reach
I have one that likes to chew branches too and had to raise a couple of my benches that I had low to get them out of his reach

I am staging for a garden tour and the ones on the ground will be hidden in my basement for the tour Sunday. That's not their normal home
