A Prostrata or non nana Procumbens, I'm not really sure anymore. I have a love hate relationship with this unruly sob. Stabs me every second it gets. I will probably graft shimpaku onto it in the near future.

I opened this thread and was a little disappointed I didn't find shohin growing out of beer bottles. (Totally gonna try that now, BTW) Still cool though. At least now I know for a fact that I'm not the only one into getting drunk and making homemade tree porn.
 
but.. effe is not German!

Sadly... it is owned by AB-InBev, so even though it is originally Belgian, it's hard to say who controls it. At some level maybe it is an American brew controlled by Anheuser-Busch! :) And if you want to go back to ancient history... there is even some question about who really founded Anheuser-Busch!
