You can see its burned through several towns. (near Lyons east of Salem in the middle of the state for those unfamiliar)
My heart goes out to those who lost their homes and businesses, at this time I haven't heard of any lives lost. Lets hope that stays the same.

Thanks Gary. Called Tom Fincel he said and Chris, Lisa and the dogs made it out safe. No report on trees and farm yet but Tom said all houses in the area gone. Lots of friends and hope they'll rebuild.

Damn, second time I'm hearing of fire hitting prominent members of the bonsai community. I hope they can rebuild - from their interview on Ryan's podcast they seem like genuinely nice people. I also always kind of hoped I'd be able to get one of their trees some day. If anyone hears of a gofund me or charity auctions for them please post details.
