Hi fellow bonsai lovers
I’m over the moon, scored this 30l Taxus for 30£, so until it’s not to late into the season would like to know what would you do to progress it this season( I’m in UK) never worked with yews so some advice would be appreciated. So far I just cat all the dead branches and exposed the nabari as it was buried very deep, it is planted in a mixture of pumice and compost, I would say it have some root damage as they where a bit fragile and black. Can I still repot it? I read August and September is the ideal time. What medium medium shall I use? Pumice or any UK practitioner can recommend something like kaizen soil. Also some directions in styling it would be great
