Saturday i finaly picked up this lovely yew
@Ruben Bouwmeester sold it to me and i can say hes a great guy thnx again for selling me this great piece and being patient till i had the cash saved up :D

Ruben worked this tree for some time and the deadwood is done together with will badely

Imo The deadwood is realy nice amd its actualy realy hollow :D

Its a taxus baccata "summer gold" so the foliage will be yellow in summer
My plan is to take it to a workshop next week to get new wire in and see how it turns out the branches seem to be well placed

That one you have is bound to be cool!, heck, it's already cool!

It also instantly made me think about adjusting the angle on one of mine...I haven't see the root base yet, but I will soon!

Gets the blood pumping just thinking about it!

the deadwood kinda helps a bit to increase the taper Visualy speaking

I see some posibilitys to expand the deadwood some ill discus it next week when im at the workshop :D
