I’m not sure I do I’m a transplant of the past five years and have only recently gotten into our local community of bonsai.
Also Portland’s pretty small in reality.

Respectfully, this is more one of "their" lines than it is actually true.
I reckon it depends on how broad of a picture one is looking at.
The way I see it....every "grunt worker" is an individual capable of not making someone else's living for them. See how "grunt" already sounds slavey and that's the term we use?
I believe in modern day HR paid slavery. It's real.

Best to get them "grunt folks" the picture early I reckon.

Push them into a greater happiness, more self worth.

I don't think most folks can fathom the thousands of years this cycle repeats it itself on.
I reckon it is inevitable, so I reckon I don't even care! 🤣

Well I do care actually, just not for a side, just the truth.

Next, I'll take a photo more ridiculous than this!

Carhartt is big where I live. Many winter recess duties (outside unless it's colder than -10 windchill or actual), many opportunities to observe that the kid in the Carhartt coveralls doesn't seem to be aware of the cold.
