Styling a massive urbandori juniper

Anyone have any ideas on styling this beast?
I'm leaning to windswept, because of the lopsided foliage and preexisting directional growth.
Could possibly also do some grafting, just not sure I wanted to go to the trouble.
Planning on a lot of carving.

I think you should. The original foliage is needly, something difficult to work with but the base is solid as far as I can tell. Absolutely worth it in my opinion.

Nice trunk! Can't offer style suggestion, but if it were mine, I'd clean out all the dead twigs and identify all the deadwood. After doing that, it'll be easier to see what you've got to work with and choose a front. The best front might narrow down the style.

Feed heavily, give plenty of Sun and see what foliage develops for two or three years. Then continue study to see what can be done with it. Trunk is most worthy of well developed tree.

I would study up and plan on a lot of heavy bending and wiring, lots of branches, lots of jin and shari. Plenty of opportunity for movement and change of direction. if you like carving try reducing the centre of the inside of proposed curves to create the design and movement where you would like it. Juniper is very easily manipulated with proper bending skills and technique. It also lends it self to extra movement in its natural form.
