Spruce Sun Damage, Ouch!

Some of you may remember my post about my Maples and Hornbeams getting scorched when the weather abruptly turned hot as hell.
Well the other tree that saw some damage that day was this guy, my little Birdsnest.
It didn't look as bad immediately, but it's showing it now.
I think I'm seeing tiny back buds starting to move.
Gonna keep an eye on this one...it had just popped it's "second flush" for this year, after a good hard trimming.
So if these buds take over, it'll have pushed out 3 sets of growth this year already.....is that bad?

Its good but not sure how i feel about three flushes of growth though, hopefully it wont burn itself out

3 is a lot in one year, but I think it'll make it fine. rootin' for it!!!!

My thoughts exactly.... we'll see!
I have a second one that is similar. And it didn't get burned. So its my emergency back up spruce.
