Had this image sent to me.

This got dried out and self defoliated.

It is an important effort, tree is growing in a soil mix of 3 mm glass beads and compost [ some of the Osmcote plus was added to the soil about a month and a half ago ].

The tree is a Chlorophora t. / Fustic, but the leaf though elm shaped, looks as though parasol leaf cutting ants have taken two or three bites out of it.

The pot by the way is for controlled growing.

*******Not a Bonsai.*****

The long extension was being grown to 3' to fatten, the will lower branch. However, a cutting will be taken to
test an idea, --------------- growing on the top to fatten the the base.
If it works, the top of tree will be allowed to grow, as a fattened side branch does nothing to fatten the trunk.
Weird huh?

It is obvious, that this tree can grow only on compost, as the glass sphere's provide support for the roots / tree to stay upright.

Perhaps I should leave this in the new time capsule topic?

Nice Anthony! I like the branching. Do you have more of these? Looks like it'd make a nice little forest.

Apologies Oso,

I seldom think in terms of Hydroponics, more organic farming, if that makes sense.
Special thanks for looking.
