Update....
a few new shoots like this, from the bottom... not really anything to speak of.


....waiting longer than usual was intended to get a lot of "nutrient activity" into branches that need a cutback....that worked out a little better...

Was going to be a good flower show from lil shrubby this spring.....


.....until a squirrel or chimp monk ate EVERY SINGLE ONE OFF....a whole year of care and endless watering gone in minutes.


Evaluating continuing. Between thefts and varmint destruction, I've had about enough of wasted efforts.


....when you come down to it, being a bonsai hobbyist is about the most frivolous use of my time at this point.....not here to make chip monks fat and happy.
