Show us bugs on tree’s

I’d been noticing some curled leaves on a European Beech (in ground), but, hadn’t been diligent about checking it out. So today I see it’s an aphid attack. No worries, spray with some Neem oil.
But, coming back later, I see a Spongy (I.e. Gypsy Moth) Moth Caterpillar hiding in the branches. That’s got to go!
(The pic is of it moved to a landscape tree, that was before I found out what it was - invasive)

Picked up a few new j-maples and found this guy on one of the leaves. Google Lens suggests it's a bush cricket. Placed him in the garden and then treated the trees with Neem.

It seems I need to improve my pest management skills.
I have seen several ways to manage the crappy Japanese beetle. I don’t have a big problem just squash in a towel. They only really love to eat my ground grown winged elm.

Crappy little mugo I should burn. LoL I looked at it a few days ago and thought I should clean up the old needles and try to make a plan. A few days later it's covered in those white scale? I can scrape them off with my fingernail is why I assume scale.

@Underdog yup those are scale. I recommend using a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol to get as many as you can off the tree and then spraying it down with a systemic insecticide. I like to use Orthene 97 acephate but it's really toxic and smells like cabbage farts so I wear ppe when applying it.

Soaking in Bayer 3n1 now and soaking down w/Isoap. Might start scraping them off later.

Odd that the other pines near it are clean. This one was last week too I guess. Influx of all kinds of pests lately. summer blues....
