Hi Headhunter

I will share based on my experience

Soil Mixture: I'm using 3 layers,

1. The bottom layer is black volcanic rock
2. mid layer is black vulcanic rock mixed with organic matter (I'm using bamboo humus) ==> comparison 2:1
3. The top layer is the black volcanic rock

for the Fertilizer I'm using

1. slow release fertilizer, I mix with bottom and mid-layer soil
2. Guani fertilizer, mix in the top layer

water jasmine really needs full sunlight and also windy environmental conditions

Can I ask, why do you use a fully volcanic rock top layer, rather then the same as the mid layer?

We choose Vulcanic rock as the top layer because it looks clean, maintains porosity, does not compact, suppresses moss, and helps long-term root health, especially in humid tropical climates
