What specifically are you looking to do with the maple? I assume bonsai. What size? Some maples reduce better for smaller bonsai.

well i know its hard to find a non grafted one and the nursery im ordering from has both but they are grafted and will be layered this year, so they need to be layerable, I have a couple hundred acres of farmland in NE georgia where I will be starting to grow as many maples as I can get my hands on and after I layer from one of these 2 maples it will go into a field and become a mother tree to be layered off of until the end of my life. I would like to have atleast one bonsai in my collection from it
