Hey guys, got myself a shimpaku juniper unknown how long it has been trained. Not going to do any pruning on it until next spring but just had a question.

The left bottom branch is so much more developed than all the other branches and is a bit heftier and longer.

should I prune a lot of the foliage in the spring to balance it out (even though there's some nice ramification going on)

Should I prune back the main branch and wire one of the secondaries to become the new leader? Without pruning off any secondaries (basically just shortening and not thinning too much)

Or should I just leave it and wire it?

Sorry if my post is confusing. Gonna add pics of the tree and the underside of the bottom left branch
