Seed Stratification and Germination Tips

You have great guidance from everyone, one final note, not sure about the cinnamon as an anti fungal, but I know baking soda is a natural anti fungal used by gardeners. I stratify all my seeds in 100% perlite, which is sterile and only moisten it slightly, and you can sprinkle baking soda on it before moistening. This will deter most molds for several months. Sphagmun works great too, prefer the perlite simply because it’s easier to locate seeds when sowing!
Will have to try out the baking soda technique. So it doesn't harm the tender seedling when it sprouts? Thanks for the feedback.
