Hi there,

one of my Scott pine is experiencing yellow and brown needle.
I think is dying, probably he take an heatwave one month ago, but the pines give up slowly....
I gave him some anti fungal, and i pay attention to keep him dry between the watering.
The soil is ok, my usual akadama, pumice and kiryu, followed the same fertilize routine of all other plants.
I have seen yellow needle in the past but never yellow and brown
What do you think ?

It does look like the tree got too dry at some point. The needles look dessicated.

There was 2 days of 40 degrees that was a record here in switzerland and the plant was in full sun....
I gave water every day, but probably the small amount of substrate doesn't keep enough water.
Anything I can do ? any chance she will survive ?

Best thing you can do is make sure it does not dry out again but dont drown it either.

Put it in a spot with morning sun and shade during the afternoon if it's still really hot there.

Do not fertilize

Hope for the best

What do the buds look like?

Buds looks dry too, someone maybe better....
I took out the tamaki pads and will pay attention to the water now will be fresh maximum 25 c° minimum 12 c° sunny or partially covered....
