Hi,

Very keen to receive advice on a problem with one of my pine trees, see attached images. This problem has been affecting the tree for 12-16 months and seems to be worsening. Any thoughts will be appreciated,.,

Hard to say for sure.
Can you provide a picture of the whole tree and tell us what kind of soil it is in, when it was last repotted and how often you water it. Also where in the world are you located?

Could be a root issue.

Could be a fungus.

However at this point, if that is the only needles left on the tree and no new buds coming along, the prognosis is grim. It is near death if not dead already....sorry.:(

I think this tree is dead.
Looks like something root related. From the little bit of soil that I can see, I see some algae.. which means it's been drowned.

If other parts of the tree look better than there might be hope. But I think it's a soil related issue.

Hi, does anybody know what this yellow bug is on my Pinetree.
