I seek advice for styling of this yamadori collected last year. I will lower first branch on the left, but appreciate any other view and ideas.

Leave it as it is.
Then next year check where it buds, and reconsider what you want with it. There's plenty of time.

I have a couple like these, and every year they get better. The key is to not want to go too fast. They're young, so they'll look poor for at least another 3 years. That's alright in my opinion.

It is very young so not much to go with yet.
It looks like you have already made the decision to go with informal upright which is a safe choice. It will take a few years before there's enough trunk and enough ramification to do much else with it.
Agree with @Wires_Guy_wires - take some time and allow the tree to develop.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm pretty new to bonsai, so always nice with with some second opinions. :)

I have a few of these and I love them. My suggestion would be to wire the two remaining branches and put some movement in them. Keep us posted on its progress!5799D0CF-E801-401A-9AAC-DD7EABE737BB.jpeg

I think this is a good start.
You need to leave it be. Feed and water it and let it do its thing for a while
