I'm in the north-east. Is it safe to ship a Siberian Elm with temperatures dipping below freezing?

Thanks

Thanks. Mine is still dormant.
Throw it in a box...and it just may wake it up... This time of year for me. Trees I've bought. I have held until later to ship by the seller.

Most my entire collection has been shipped. Elm all run on their own timeline for dormancy. But it's just an iffy time for my own comfort to ship trees now.

Had it been more into winter...than moving into spring. Then...yes, dependant on night Temps. I have had trees shipped. Now... I'm not comfortable with it. It's a weird window we sit in currently with trees and the chance of them waking.
