Has anyone tried or had luck root a rowan cutting? especially on the larger side? I have a rowan stump with a 2 yr old branch that needs to come off but unfortunately, it not at a angle I can air layer. Its a probably around 1 at the base and I'd like to keep a good 5-6 inches of height.
If I do try and root it, chop it now or wait until the tree actually wakes up?
