Here is a tropical project that is coming along. The only tree I keep indoors on display.

One particularly humid summer got a mass of aerial roots so I decide it was time to remove the bulbous mallsai roots. Off with its legs !! I used cut paste and wire to attach it to the stone initially. After some years on the stone the tree is fully attached.

Nice.

I'd like to see it in a larger more shallow pot.
Something about the rock look of the crater glaze playing against the natural rock.
Slightly uncomfortable.

I think your efforts deserve better, treat yourself!

Great job with the roots on the rock. So much better than a rock jammed into a space between a couple of roots.
Ficus are a natural for ROR.
