Reclaimed the back yard, not much to go :)

Finally looking good again. Grimmy, you and I spoke at every step of the way
along your clean up and re-install. I am so glad to see it finished. Yes; I did
advise an overkill regime when you first started. And you followed it to the
"T". But now you can sit back without that fear gnawing at your brain with
"when will it happen again?" At least your Ag agent was impressed that you
took the effort to do it "right" and in the long run you will be so much happier
for the loss of this year. Sometimes you just have to go with it and fix it all at
once. Where firecrackers don't work limited yield nuclear is always an option;
sometimes necessary even. Good job.

Funny . . . I guess I am paranoid enough :oops: Grimmy

Grimmy, it is not paranoia when you have already been burned with it;
call it "justifiable caution" and it doesn't sound all "POSTAL waiting to happen".
Dude you lost too much for there to be anything paranoid about it.

I especially like the tree that is kind of "spilling" out of the display area into the yard.

The Landscapers looked at me a little strange when I told them to do that as well as trench it in where it meets the sod. Turned out they liked it when done. The Wife had no clue what I meant and left all the back yard layout to me and has told a few folks she is happy she did :p It is a tiny space so little creative things help. There is also a Utility area which I am organizing off to the side out of sight. That space will be used for the tortoise food bin, composter, and have a few shelves for quarantine plants. By doing that I can free up the concrete deck and put a floating cedar deck over it in the Spring with a couple of water features :rolleyes:
