Are your digging the pot in the ground? Or have you other plans to protect it?

Nothing like that for now. They should most likely be fine until spring right, given their hardiness? I was planning on making a grow bed in the spring, so wanted to keep them potted till then.

What is implied here is that your pot needs protection. Either in the ground, in a mulch bed, a coldframe etc
It is understood that you want to keep them in the pot for now.

Gotcha, I wasn’t going to do that. Is it necessary though? I thought they’d be hardy enough just in pots layered with mulch on top.

They might be fine, they might not be. Mine are all protected one way or another.

Gotcha, I guess I can bury the pots in mulch, it can’t hurt and it’s pretty easy. Thanks!
