Prunus Spinosa

Good timing. I dug something up last week, and I didn't actually know what it was. Turns out to be a Prunus spinosa. It was a tree that I've walked past many times and randomly chopped down multiple times on my way to check other trees. Once I chipped off the dead/dry stumps of yesteryear's chops, I revealed some taper. It came up really easily, and it had as good nebari as one could possibly expect out of a feral tree. Free is also nice. I'll see where this goes. Otherwise, I hate them. If you park under them, they vomit copious amounts of sap on your car. At least I think that's where the sap is coming from.

No wait...I take it all back. Disregard. I have prunus serotina. The difficult step child. It still has nice basics though.
