Preventing wood rot in trees--Liquid copper fungicide

I have not and would question it for a few reasons. First thing is when I use Copper Fungicide it leaves a very obvious blue coating when it dries including Bonide which he mentioned. Also it rinses away when it rains. Hard for me to understand how it could be effective.

Grimmy

I was an avid boater and the people with wooden boats and others with wood root would use a product called GITROT OR GETROT. It would turn your rotten wood into a hard surface. It was injected into the wood with a hypodermic needle .
Everyone us to use this product because it worked. I have not used in on any Bonsai's but have been thinking about it.
Something to think about.

See...that did cross my mind as well Grimmy. Other than he's putting it on at a thicker concentrate...though...I'm thinking what I use is a very dark green, but still it's Bonide. (Just checked) Never noticed it on the trees once dried. Only when wet do I notice it.
