Pot for my repot next spring.

I'm already looking to next spring for a repot on my parsons juniper. I am looking for pot that will fit the tree. This is what I found. Think this would look ok?
Here is the treesView attachment 432404View attachment 432405
I have the REB18 and it is huge. I put my 2" trunk Delonix regia that had a 5ft canony and was more than 6ft tall in that REB18 pot and the pot seems big.
Wigert is cheaper from what I have found.
If your tree is in a 3 gallon pot now, it will not need the REB18 for sure.

Your assumption of effrooting is correct.

Hand tearing small enough, some kinda barerooting but not. Real NFG.

Everything will excell if you draw, even if you don't show us till the 80th rendition!

Thats what figured. Should be able to do it under the 80th rendition but may be in crayon :)
Wigert has some decent size mica pots for a decent price I have 5 different sizes picked out for les than $100. This weekend ima build a couple wood boxes from 12" to 18" and when the time comes to pot I will have a choice.

Just remember to identify a good root or two under the surface to really tie down hard on since it'll never be exposed. Drill custom holes to run your wires straight down through tight AF.

Don't underestimate the necessity of supreme stability!

Some of my smaller trees i haven't tied down but these have sails for the wind. Both are almost 2ft tall and 36" wide atm. These will have to be tied.

They can be a nuisance i try and take care of those nuisance. My birds have to eat :)

If Kullas is happy with its current size then no it doesn't. Not everyone wants trees that weigh 50 pounds plus
Tree does not to have huge size or be "sumo" style to have decently robust trunk. Personally consider present trunk puny for size of tree unless developed into Literati. Trunk is foundation/focal point of tree. If not impressive tree will not be.

I now have some options on size of pots. I'm kinda liking the oval pot. One of the junipers is going in the ground, one is going to get a repot next new moon 16th this month. And the grey owl juniper is going to sit here and get a repot next spring. Maybe some snips here and there this year.20220503_161438.jpg
