Nice! Have you grown redwoods in your neck of the woods before? I used to live in Fairfax County VA, I feel like they wouldn’t be too happy there.

Dawns. Not coastal. But I’d have to get a greenhouse etc which I was going to do anyway. I’m not sure how they’d fair all in all. Still on the fence about my purchase, haven’t decided what to do yet. I’d get multiple if I ordered and I’m a bit stuck after reading all of this lol

Yeah, I’d imagine you’d need a greenhouse, it can get quite chilly over there! I wonder if you’d be able to find any in a nursery or order some nursery stock you could try out. See how they do. They can make great trees too!

Life is too short for nursery stock lol but I should give that way a go if I was being practical
