I know, not great for bonsai, I was new and stupid - but hey, I like it so far!

There's also a good amount of die back in strips on the trunk - not really sure how to handle that, but I might just let it do whatever it wants.

One looks like typical winter damage to azalea/rhododendron types.

In any event would want to gently clean any detritus off them and fully cut paste each.

Any update on this tree?
Stopped at HD on the way from work and bought one. Thought two curved trunks looked nice.
Alway can go into landscape, bit would try to "bonsai" in the spring...
