Acquired this pine and planning to change the styling . My biggest concern is soil change and branches styling with many originating from same point or ling straight lines.
Current front I'm keeping but rotating a tiny bit clockwise on next repot

First concern is this branch coming from side across trunk to left. Its flexible bit not sure I can rotate it to use as back branch or not ? Screenshot_20230330_105733_Gallery.jpg
Second challenge is the 2 bar branches ideally would want to use the left one as potential defining branch

Then this ling straight branch going left thinking of cutting to yellow line, or would it be ok to make it dead wood ?

Then the trunk in top halls.m9st used branches origination from one spot which will require taking all branches from that spot off and using new pulling other branches in location to fill.... overall a lot of branches to take out which will decrease foliage condlsiderably.
Considering this final shape bit not sure if apex would stay to the right or if I should push it towards left.

Any advice on shaping considerations and when to do what is appreciated.
Current plan is to fertilize heavy this spring for tree to pick up energy, style and remove branches next autumn, spring 2024 repot with HBR. Then a year later 2nd HBR

Any suggestions appreciated

You have identified all the same problems I picked out and also came up with pretty much the same solutions.
Happy to get rid of the crossing branch. Apart from crossing the trunk it also occupies the same area as an existing branch. I don't think it would be useful to move that foliage to the back so it goes first.

The first bar branch: left side is better. Remove right branch. Maybe leave a short jin there. If it looks too open there are branches above that can be dropped down a bit to fill some of the space.
Just working from the photos I might be inclined to remove even more of the top branch but better to make haste slowly so start with your chop and see how that looks for a year or 2 while you do the repotting then decide whether to shorten it more or not.
