Pfitzeriana mint julep juniper progression

Bought this juniper a year ago. Uppoted and let it grew.
A month ago, I begun the styling process.

I still have to work a lot, but I'm still unsecure about the front and plantation angle......, so I guess I will wait while I decide.

Man, those pfizers always give me a serious skin rash!
I plan on grafting mine with itoigawa because even though they are strong growers, they don't really develop tight foliage.

As for the styling, I would try and see if you can wire some serious bends in that trunk. I think that would make it a lot more interesting. But I also acknowledge that the wood can be quite rigid and snappy compared to chinese junipers.
