glad Im not the only one confused
This was my thought also. Did a 16-year-old kid walk out to this tree in the middle of the night with a powerful enough chainsaw and a 6 foot bar and chop this thing down by himself? The cut alone looks incredibly clean. Feels a little mysterious to me quite frankly. How a 16 year old can do that. This tree is not near any parking lot... I thought it take 20 minutes walk to get to it right?
Anyway, will it back bud? The stump is still quite a bit above the rootage.
Holy Crap! I better get my camera going. I would think they had something at the Gardens for surveillance...Bonsai trees worth $1,500 stolen from Michigan Medicine student
The student is also a volunteer at Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor and was preparing the trees for a national competition.www.mlive.com
Or a really mean and vindictive person...I lived a long time inNorthumberland , I loved this tree, it was also in the Robin Hood film....whoever did it was a senseless idiot
