WTF is this stuff?!
image.jpg

The Internets said it's rose rust. It started as an infection on the wild strawberries that are all over the yard but today I noticed it on my willow oak in the green house and my raspberry clear across the yard.

All I have is nem oil and some systemic both are suppose to be anti fungal please tell me this will stop it.

With this wet spring...I been getting some...

Not that bad...

More air circulation....

Less water!

A fan?

Argh!

Heavy spray of most any anti-fungal. That usually only shows up when you have extended damp a cool weather but is easy to get rid of. It will help to get rid of any plant leafs on the ground and crap that holds moisture during treatment. That happened some years ago and I sprayed the dirt as well...

yea this new yard is pretty crappy. It fills up with water every time and rains. There are three drain across the yard that are suppose to help with drainage but if i let the one on the corner of the house get covered for even a second my whole bathroom floods through the walls.

so yea my yard is wet all the time.

Thanks for helping me again!

at least its a pretty color

I've been noticing not only that but my boxwood bushes have erupted with mealy bugs as well. That makes me squirm in my seat.

I've got this fungus also on a couple of crabapples I planted on the ground. The spots are larger and further appart. I just bought antifungal and sprayed them. Haven't really noticed the orange spots going away.

I only just sprayed my infected with neem oil ( originally for red spider mites ) the label says it contains insecticide and anti fungal but that could mean anything. I certainly haven't noticed it spreading after spraying but the original spore sites are still there.

Ill continue to watch it.
