One foot or two...putting your best foot forward

Now, I understand a round three footed pot the foot should go in the center when viewing. But to me it seems to look so unstable that way.

Is it a rule that many break...leaving two feet show?

Potter is Kenneth Chung. Love the detail on this tiny pot.

One foot forward accentuates the shape of the pot. Two legs forwards? You just made your pot a clunky square.:eek:;):D:D:D:D:D:D

you can use 1 or 2 feet but it might also make sense to rest your plant in the pot
and then make a choice.
Just rest.

I presume it's the size of pot that allows one to see the feet in the back Dave?
I'm not sure it makes a difference. My point was that, depending on the number of feet, you might be able to readily see either 1,2, or 3 feet depending on the pot's orientation, and the chosen orientation should be based on the tree potted in it.
