Yeah, I’ve got a ficus that’s spending the winter in my office. At least it’ll stay there while it looks good. Sometimes a tree will start looking a little sickly in the middle of winter since it’s only getting natural sunlight through the window plus whatever the overhead fluorescents throw off. When that happens, I just swap it out for one from home that’s been happily growing under LEDs.

This has been my setup for a while now but with my upcoming job change, I likely will not have enough light for a similar set up.



I also brought my Hedera Helix in about a month ago and it loooooves this spot. Recently pruned back some overly aggressive tendrils.

This is a really nice idea.

Now I am toying with the idea of keeping a tree in the office under lights.

During the winter I keep a Brazilian Rain Tree in my office. During the growing season, I bring in a different tree every week. Keeping the same tree indoors year round can be problematic for the tree's health.
